Inside Sales Team is a self-funded inside sales company that continues to double in size every few years. Since our founding in 2010, we’ve grown to become a house name in the San Francisco software as a service (SAAS) industry. The primary responsibility of the Sales Development Rep is to generate new business opportunities for our clients. In this critical role you represent our client and become the first point of contact for our client’s ideal potential customers. We provide paid training in the following areas: sales skills, market knowledge, technical abilities, and teamwork. Your world class sales and technology training provided by IST coupled with the product knowledge provided by our clients, will allow you to find success in this role. Unlike many other business development roles, IST will provide lead lists and the most advanced technology platforms.
Technology savvy, digital marketing capable business development professionals are in demand. We'll help you develop your real world skills and knowledge base to put your career into high gear. You’re day-to-day will most likely include:
• Outbound marketing and cold calls (B2B only)
• 5 paid 15 minutes breaks
• Ensuring CRM platform(Salesforce) is up to date
• Using Social Networking sites (linkedin) to establish a connection with prospects
• Numerous ping pong, jenga or cornhole matches
• Working with our marketing department to develop mass email campaigns and newsletters
• Thoughtful conversations with executives where you bring ideas to the table
• Navigating “best in class” technology platforms provided to you
• Adaptable to change (we’re growing and the farthest thing from “corporate and stuffy”)
• Oral and written communication skills
• Able to perform under pressure (Our clients expect the best because they know IST delivers the best)
• “West Coast” Attitude toward work culture (we’re casual... but not lazy)
• Great “East Coast” Work Ethic

In this key role you will report directly to the President of IST.
Your sales and marketing operations skills are second-to-none. Sales people love you. Marketing teams bow at your feet. Regular folk don’t have a clue how you do what you do, but they love you for making their lives easier and helping them hit their goals.
Salesforce.com is your first language; marketing automation is just part of your DNA. When people talk you translate words into 1s and 0s. You're not necessarily the most social person you know, but social media is second nature.
Desired Skills and Experience Include:• Extensive experience managing Salesforce.com
• Deep understanding of lead scoring and database segmentation
• Mastery of Excel
• Proven track record of successfully selecting and deploying sales & marketing applications
• Hands on experience with Klipfolio or other BI tools
• Extensive experience with Marketo or other top tier marketing automation tools
• Previous experience in a rapid-growth environment (employment doubling every 6 months)
• Managing a social media platform such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social is a plus
• A strong desire to become an expert in social media management and analytics is required
• Previous management of people, process and systems is desired
